Founded by Dr. Antoinette C. Dendtler, Ed. M., the Environment Community Opportunity Charter School or “ECO” opened its doors in September 2005 to 150 Camden, NJ elementary school students in grades K through 2. 

It currently serves students in grades K through 5.  ECO's  academic program incorporates a standards-driven program with the research-based, proven-effective, Using the Environment as an Integrating Context for Improving Students Learning (EIC) Framework.
